Hi! I am Michael Poddington AKA Mr Bumble Children's entertainer and magician. I have been entertaining children at parties since 2011. It all started at the beginning of 2011.

As parents we wanted a birthday party for our 4 year old son. Many children's entertainer's were not available so with some very quick research into children's magic and plenty of preparation and practicing of children's magicial effect's  not to mention the nerves I performed simple but effective magic and of course the embarrassing dad dancing for what seemed like an eternity although only 2 hours, with a massively welcome break in the middle for the birthday lunch. Dressed like Mr Tumble the children's entertainer from the television and making a few mistakes, which turned into the children laughing and the parents applauding this turned into a slapstick comedy show. After the two hours of mis haps and mayhem and a chance to recap "BINGO". My calling was here, hooked on magic and dad dancing. many many children's  magic shows later the whole experience has become a way of life, With an exception of a few years during Covid I have always enjoyed entertaining the younger generation. I was the proud winner of Children's Entertainer of the year with Huddersfield Circle of Magicians, I am also a member of Huddersfield Circle of Magicians.
